Affordable 106 provides services for property developers, architects, planning consultants, local authorities and Registered Providers including:
- Financial modelling and appraisals using Argus Developer and the Development Appraisal Tool
- Linking developers and their agents to Registered Providers of affordable housing
- Valuing and procuring affordable housing
- Securing grant funding for affordable housing
- Negotiating the amount and type of affordable housing with (or on behalf of) local authorities
- Supporting responses to tenders for residential land opportunities
- Advice on drafting effective section 106 agreements and unilateral undertakings for developments that include affordable housing
- Assessing and, if appropriate, challenging requirements for planning obligation (Section 106) financial contributions
- Acting as an expert witness at Planning appeals
